Edward Aguero
Edward Aguero grew up in Perris, California, facing hardship, addiction, and repeated jail time.  While incarcerated, he earned his GED and resolve to change.  In 2017, as his father's health declined, Edward got sober and started community college.  After his father's death in 2019, he relapsed and returned to jail, but in 2024,  he found a new direction.  Edward met his wife in 2010, and this June marks their first wedding anniversary.

Today, Edward serves as the Outreach Director for East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC), living proof of the transformative power of faith.  He believes that every meaningful change begins with a single conversation.  Each day, Edward connects people with sustainable housing solutions, shares ECTLC's mission, and collaborates closely with local advocates.  His warm, people-centered approach helps build trust and hope.  Edward takes immense pride in being part of a team that goes beyond offering shelter, working to restore lives and create brighter futures.

Edward is also involved with youth groups and is studying to become a Peer Support Specialist.  His story is an example and testimony to the Glory of God.
